I’ve been doing voice overs since I was 5 & the most important thing to remember when giving life to characters is that you have to have a good child like imagination. I’m a kid at heart so its easy for me BUT>>> You also have to be super mindful that when you’re in the studio, you’re costing the studio, engineer, producer, director their time/money so you gotta be able to give it the best shot each and every time.  AND you also have to be funny, lively, & able to crack jokes up so that you keep everyone laughing in the studio but again not too much or the laughter goes on a roll & it gets annoying. (Been there done that) It’s like laughter is contagious when something funny gets you all cracking up non stop… Haha. I can’t tell you yet what exactly this voice over was for but I’ll tell you what all ages will love it the producer of this app is a long time friend we used to do voices for when we were kids/teens so this product is filled with a lot of love & I can’t wait to let you know which app so that you guys can take a listen to our fun times. Oh & within 4 hrs my sister, mom, & I did 18….(you will see ) Both my mom & sister are amazing at VO too and I learn so much from them!!!  Ok, I’m done for today and I’m hungry. Welcome to my website! I am Mayuka Thais, an independent artist. The button to your RIGHT is a button that will enable me to create more art & music to help fund my heARTful projects.  I have put a lot of time and thought into my career and I feel strongly that by creating I can best participate in the World around me.  Through my art, music, teaching and public speaking, I can connect to the hearts and minds of others, which is important to me.  If you are in the position of a Patron of the Arts and able to donate to an Artist such as myself, then please know your contribution is greatly appreciated and will be used wisely.  At any one time, I have multiple projects in the works. I’m writing, recording, prepping for a gig, creating artwork (painting/drawing), developing and/or researching  new show and exhibit ideas while concurrently teaching over 200 students from Kindergarten (3-5 yrs)  to 4th grade.  I am floored, grateful and humbled each time anyone makes a donation on my behalf. I will keep working, with or without donations, so, please, in no way feel pressured to make one. Life gives all of us challenges. I love to create and wish I could spend 100% of my time doing so, but a good majority of my work around the edges is to help me pay off my massive student loans. Many friends have suggested that I have a donation site to help me get the tools and materials I need to continue my art and music and lessen the financial burdens.
